It is the ultimate desire of every actor to play a part in a superhero series, and for Jay, who feels that he was born to play Robin, Batman is the movie!!
Well I think he deserves to be Robin, because his performance is remarkable in each and every show. If you watch Numb3rs online, then there is no way that the character of the nerdy Oswald could have escaped you!
In one of his recent interviews, Jay expressed that he had always dreamt of playing sidekick to the masked protector of Gotham city.
He asserted, “If there is any modern mythology to be found, it’s in comics. I would be lying if I didn’t think I was born to play Robin. My whole life, the only parts I thought I was supposed to play were Robin and the Dauphin from Henry V.”
Well if he thinks that the sole purpose of his coming into this world is to play Robin…well so be it then!!
But I have to say, he will look cute as Robin and after having seen his work in the Numb3rs series I have this feeling that he will do justice to the character.
His last two movies were really fantabulous, but in both the movies, he did not get to play superhero! Though he was really important for both flicks, he really wants to be a part of something as legendary as Batman.
Believe it or not, but even I am fascinated by the character of Robin. This is one sidekick, who had an identity that was all his own, and was never overshadowed by the actual superhero.
I think this star from the Numb3rs episodes is talented enough and will certainly justify the demands of a role like Robin’s.

Diane Farr has nabbed a role on the sophomore season of USA Network’s crime comedy drama series White Collar, which returns with new episodes beginning July 13. The 40-year-old actress is popularly known for her roles on Rescue Me as Laura Mile, Californication as Jill Robinson and on Numb3rs as FBI agent Megan Reeves.
Farr, who most recently appeared as the mother of the Fairview Strangler, “Eddie,” on Desperate Housewives last season, will be playing a character named Gina De Stefano on White Collar. Though it is not known how long she’ll be appearing on the show, Entertainment Weekly
reveals that she will portray a waitress Mozzie (Willie Garson) has a crush on. She’ll also be in hot water and will need his help.
NUMB3RS is a drama about an FBI agent who recruits his mathematical-genius brother to help the Bureau solve a wide range of challenging crimes in Los Angeles. The two brothers take on the most confounding criminal cases from a very distinctive perspective. Inspired by actual events, the series depicts how the confluence of police work and mathematics provides unexpected revelations and answers to the most perplexing criminal questions.
In our report a month ago, we informed you that Amazon.com had begun taking advance orders for a DVD release of what is currently titled Numb3rs – The 6th Season. CBS/Paramount had not formally scheduled the title at the time, so no release date was provided, but this morning the studio has made it official, naming August 10th as the street date. Running time is 678 minutes for 16 episodes that are presented in widescreen. The price, per Amazon, is $57.99 SRP (but you can lock in your copy at a very nice discount this moment, using the order link above). Package art and other details aren’t available yet, but CBS/Paramount did provide retailers with this nice list of extras for the title!

Numb3rs star Dylan Bruno will guest-star in the final two episodes of NCIS‘ seventh season, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
Bruno will play Lt. Jason Paul Dean, a freelance mercenary with ties to the private military company operated by Col. Merton Bell (Robert Patrick), an enemy of Gibbs (Mark Harmon). As we first reported, Lt. Dean is an imposing, edgy and dangerous former Army Ranger who was highly decorated before a screw-up in Afghanistan led to his dishonorable discharge — and he’s not at all afraid to kill when necessary.
Obviously, that’s bad news for Gibbs, who arrested Bell for going after the granddaughter and daughter-in-law of Gibbs’ good friend, Mike Franks (Muse Watson), earlier this season. Since then, Bell has also sent sly lawyer M. Allison Hart (Rena Sofer) after Gibbs. Will Lt. Dean be more successful?
Bruno’s character will first appear in the season’s penultimate episode, but he will stick around for the big finale, in which Gibbs has to make a devastating choice to save his team.
NCIS returns with the first of five new episodes Tuesday, April 27 at 8/7c. The season finale airs Tuesday, May 25 at 8/7c.

Numb3rs star Navi Rawat has been tapped for a guest-starring role on ABC’s Castle, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
Rawat will trade in her math textbooks to play Rachel Walters, a mummification expert who crosses paths with Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle (Nathan Fillion) when the Natural History Museum’s assistant curator, Will Medina, is found murdered. Rachel informs the team that Will might have been cursed because he disturbed ancient Mayan tombs to create the museum’s newest exhibit.
Rachel, who could be a suspect in the murder, also catches Castle nosing through some coffins in the museum, prompting Becket to tease Castle about the curse. Castle refuses to believe her until he suffers his own near-death experience.
The episode, entitled “Wrapped Up in Death,” is slated to air April 5.
Further proof that this Friday’s episode of Numb3rs will be a series finale: Rob Morrow has joined the cast of ABC’s Jerry Bruckheimer-produced legal drama The Whole Truth.
The project, which also stars Nip/Tuck’s Joely Richardson, chronicles the building of a case from the perspective of both the defense and prosecution.
For Morrow, Truth is technically in second position to Numb3rs, although there’s little chance the CBS procedural will return next fall.
